Our Ministries

  • At St. Antony’s, the Sunday School ministry plays a vital role in nurturing the faith of our children and engaging them in the teachings of the Church. Through age-appropriate lessons, interactive activities, and community involvement, our dedicated teachers help instill core values and deepen understanding of Orthodox beliefs and traditions. We aim to create a welcoming environment where children can grow spiritually, build friendships, and learn the teachings of Christ. Join us!

  • This ministry strengthens the support of the St Anthony parish community. This includes communicating information to the St. Antony parish, organizing outreach campaigns, coordinating events, and determining better ways to support our parish. This would include, but not limited to, outreach to families in need, meals of mercy, home visits, follow up with missing members, establishing and distributing food pantry items, and clothing drive.

If you have passion for giving back and helping our parish families, this role could be for you!

  • Our Men's Group and Women’s Group serves as a supportive community for men and women of all ages within the Orthodox Christian Church. We focus on fostering spiritual growth, accountability, and fellowship through various activities and programs. Participants meet monthly as well as engage in Bible studies, prayer groups, and service projects that deepen their faith and help them connect with others.

By providing opportunities to serve both the church and the community, we aim to strengthen bonds among brothers and sisters in Christ and encourage them to lead lives rooted in Orthodox values. Join us as we seek to grow in our faith and support one another on our spiritual journeys.

  • The Parish Council (working together with the parish priest) serves as the governing body of each Orthodox parish, dedicated to fostering the spiritual and practical needs of St. Antony’s and its faithful. Comprising elected representatives from the congregation, the council works collaboratively to manage church affairs, ensure the upkeep of our facilities, develop ministries, and grow the parish into a future vision of Christ’s mission.

Through their guidance and decision-making, the Parish Council plays a vital role in supporting our mission to grow in faith, serve our community, and enhance the worship experience. Together, they strive to embody the values of our faith and empower our parish to flourish in love of Jesus Christ.

  • Our Food and Clothing Pantry Ministry is dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need within our parish as well as the Tulsa area community. We strive to alleviate hunger and provide essential clothing by collecting and distributing donated items. Through the generosity of our congregation and local partners, we offer a welcoming space for those seeking assistance.

No one should face the challenges of life alone, and our pantry serves as a lifeline for those experiencing food insecurity and clothing shortages. Please join us in our volunteer mission to serve, uplift, and empower our neighbors, demonstrating Christ’s love for humanity by ensuring that everyone has access to the basic necessities.

  • In an increasingly digital world, St. Antony’s embraces the power of online presence to enhance faith and community engagement. Our website and social media ministry serves as a vital platform for sharing the teachings of the Orthodox faith, promoting upcoming events, and fostering dialogue among parishioners and seekers alike. Through engaging content, inspiring messages, and interactive features, we aim to connect individuals with their spiritual heritage and encourage active participation in church life.

Volunteer opportunities for this ministry are open to visionaries called to pave the path of Orthodoxy in the modern age.
